That's What Makes You Beautiful

Is beauty a flat stomach? Is beauty perfect skin with no wrinkles? Is beauty a body with perfect curve? As a young teen myself, I want to dig deeper and find the answers to these questions.

For so long now, we are told,” True beauty comes from inside us”, but is it really?What if there was a beginner in smallworlds who may not look ‘pretty’ but is extremely funny and clever, and there was another avatar who was rich, ‘pretty’ but not as smart? Do you think you have beauty if you are intelligent or pretty? Is it the inside or the outside?

Many people think what you see on the surface is what you will find within the person.This assumption is what causes people to think less of themselves or to be narcissistic. What if you miss out on a working friendship just because of what you thought of their outward appearance?

For me, and I’m sure for you too, you wouldn’t want to be judged on what you look like and who you are. I remember when I first joined Smallworlds and I wanted to hang out with some ‘cool’ VIP’s. I worked day and night to earn enough gold for my golden ticket - VIP. All of these only to ‘fit in’. After a few weeks, I finally bought vip and I was very excited.I was now one of the cool kids in Smallworlds! I wore the VIP make up and bought cheap VIP clothings. I even got a guitar! I was so proud of myself. I was ready to mingle with the cool kids!

Butt little did I know… They didn’t want to be friends with me...because according to them, I looked ugly. I was heartbroken.

Smallworlds has taught us a lot of things, that may or may not help us in the real world.

One of thing Smallworlds has taught me that beauty isn’t the first glance you sneak in the halllway. It’s the unknown that lies within.

Beauty runs deeper than a flat stomach and deeper than your skin. Don’t be afraid to be you, because you are beautiful just the way you are
