Hey guys, and welcome to a new Divide series, Sculpture Recs! The sculpting community on SmallWorlds is amazing; they design such cool items that can really make a space unique, and considering my love for interior design, that’s great news! So for this series, we’re going to be taking a look at some of my favorite sculpture shops, what they’re offering, and my favorite pieces from them! For our inaugural article, the shop I’m ‘reccing’ is The Blush Brush, run by Presley Styles the 2nd. It opened this January, so it’s fairly new, but it’s easily one of my favorite shops.
Store Layout

Some sculpture shops can have tons of inventory, which means everything’s right next to each other so it all fits. The Blush Brush is in a Suburban Neighborhood space, which may seem strange but actually works out perfectly! Each ‘house’ specializes in a different kind of sculpture (food, furniture, and fashion), so if you know what you’re looking for, you don’t have to sift through what you aren’t interested in. The display organization is also on point; finding things is a breeze, and nothing’s hidden around in a room. Score!
Sculptures
The sculptures themselves are a really great quality. Nothing looks too blocky except when it’s supposed to (like the makeup pallets), and have styles that fit easily into already-released furniture by SmallWorlds, and other sculpture shops. In particular, The Blush Brush’s furniture sculptures shine. The ladder, for example, (pictured above) is on-trend and looks amazing in any space (and I should know; I bought one!).
Another thing I loved was the makeup. Creating a cosmetics line is a hot trend right now, with a lot of big names getting in on the action. But The Blush Brush’s options are unique; they only offer two pallets (which I love, especially FILL), and instead focus on accessories like brushes and nail polish. Not to mention there are unique items like beauty blenders and an entire array of makeup with a purse; super stylish!

Variety
Like I said before, there are 3 main categories of sculptures offered at The Blush Brush; food, furniture, and fashion. And of those three, there are a lot of options. Food in particular is massive, from fresh fruits and vegetables to cakes and macaroons. Makeup and art supplies both have a lot of great color selections, which is always nice for a personal touch.
In fact, the section of sculptures I’m always most interested in - furniture - seemed to have the smallest selection. That’s not a bad thing, especially considering the items that are available are gorgeous, but I hope to see it expand as the store continues to grow.

Price
Of course, pricing is important too; luckily The Blush Brush is refreshingly affordable. Looking around, I never once thought ‘man, that’s a lot for this.’ You pay for quality, but you don’t overpay for it.
Personal Favorites: Ladder, Pillow Basket, Tabletop Fountain
Overall, I think The Blush Brush is a hidden gem of a shop. There are some great items for good prices, and the overall style of them is just up my alley! I hope to see this place thrive in the coming months, and eagerly await to see what’s coming up next!
